This is a great piece by Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, about why cutting spending and balancing the budget is more than just a political duty. It's our moral duty to reverse the out-of-control spending that has led us to saddle the next generation with $46,500+ in debt (and counting, www.usdebtclock.org) from the time they leave the womb. I may have to go into more depth on why in a future post.
